Dell Laser Printer 1700 Paper Jam Problem?

ok guys, so my printer jams like halfway. i press print and then it gets jamed. however, its not like regular jams where the paper is alll wrinkled up when u pull it out. my problem is that when it jams i can just pull out the paper and its fine. mechanics inside?should i take it apart? like i can print something but thats in 1/20 tries. Thanks!

1. Electro-mechanical problem. Better have it checked to Dell. This is not normal paperjam. There is something wrong with the fuser assembly.
