Who will give me money for an empty toner cartridge without any hassles?
I called Staples, Office Depot and Office Max and none of them give you anything without more hassle than it's worth. Each one made me join their club, would send the reward in the mail eventually when it hit a certain amount etc. So, where can I drop off this cartridge?

- Most manufacturers will provide a prepaid mail sticker in the packaging of a new toner cartridge so you can send back the old one for them to recycle. Expecting money back for the old one is ludicrous; you should consider yourself lucky that you can probably dispose of it for free.
- THere are no places which will just outright buy one toner cartridge. You can just recycle them at the aforementioned places, however in order to receive the benefits of recycling you do have to join the club. This is because not all toners have value and this isn't something which is always immediately evident. Each toner needs to be electronically and mechanically tested.
- You might try calling smaller printing supply type local businesses. It's a hassle, but you can sell on Ebay, too.
