Is the HP printer/scanner that Apple Store is offering with any PC bought any good?

They're offering cash back on a 9900 yen printer/scanner (HP) in my Japan Apple Store. Wondering if I should upgrade from my old Epson printer GM1700 (?) I also wonder if the old Epson printer will run with a brand new MacBook

1. Pretty good, actually. They work well for any desktop or laptop, provided that the drivers are compatible. For the Epson printer, its the same thing, just download the drivers. If you don't have the original installation disc for the Epson printer, you could go online to epson.com and go to the drivers page.
2. HP have a great product and if it is supported by MAC Apple store, you have to take Apple's word that HP is good and will run perfectly with the MAC> You have to watch the Epson. Sometimes, they do not run well or have driver issues depending on the operating system installed. Inquire first.
