I am buying a new Laptop and can't decide between these 3?

Hi! I am looking at getting a new laptop, and I spend a lot of time on my computer as it is, so I know I am going to need a good one. I found 3 that seem pretty nice and fit in my $2,500 budget (this includes tax, warranty, SW, accessories, etc.). >>HP Envy 15: Intel Core i7-720QM Processor (1.6GHz, 6MB L2 Cache, 1333MHz FSB w/Turbo Boost up to 2.8 GHz) 6 GB RAM 320 GB 7,200 RPM HDD 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 5830 Graphics 15.6" diagonal Full High Definition LED HP Ultra Brightview Widescreen Display (1920x1080) Webcam Wireless N with Bluetooth One 6 cell battery and one 9 cell Slim Fit extended life battery (6-7.5 hour battery life) 3 year warranty ** TOTAL PRICE ** $ 2512.79 >>Dell Studio XPS 16 Intel Core i7-720QM Processor (1.6GHz, 6MB L2 Cache, 1333MHz FSB w/Turbo Boost up to 2.8 GHz) 6 GB RAM 128GB Solid State Drive ATI Mobility RADEON® HD 4670 – 1GB Full HD Widescreen 16.0 inch RGBLED LCD (1920x1080) 2.0 MP Webcam Wireless N with Bluetooth One 85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery with an additional 56 WHr 6-Cell Lithium-Ion Primary Battery 1 year of Lojack 3 year warranty ** TOTAL PRICE** $ 2423.70 >>Sony VAIO F VPCF1190X: Intel Core i7-720QM Processor (1.6GHz, 6MB L2 Cache, 1333MHz FSB w/Turbo Boost up to 2.8 GHz) 6 GB RAM 256GB Solid State Drive 16.4" VAIO Premium Display (1920x1080) NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 330M GPU (1GB VRAM) Large capacity battery Keyboard Backlight VAIO® Large Capacity Battery 3 Year Express Ship Service Plan with ADH for Notebooks ** TOTAL PRICE** $ 2507.77 Just wanted to add that 1) I personally prefer ATI over NVIDIA just a bit. 2) The Dell has a Soundblaster X-Fi card built in. 3) Just wanted to clarify that yes, I did put the batteries for the VAIO in twice. I will be getting two batteries. I dont want to hear anything about Macbooks either. I am a PC all the way. Sorry if this pisses anyone off, but I am NOT getting a Mac. My Current Specs: 2.0 GHz AMD Dual Core Turion 3.0 GB RAM 256 MB ATI Radeon 3200 and I 250 GB 5,200 RPM HDD, but I am only using 70 GB

  1. I say the second one... =)
  2. Get a mac book air or a mac book , they're only 1,499 dollars i believe. and they are the best!!!!! try this website: http://www.apple.com and look around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. HP ENVY IS BETTER HAS MORE MEMORY AND HAS ALMOST THE SAME AS THE OTHER LAPTOPS
  4. The Dell
  5. It depends on your needs - personally, I would choose the Sony Vaio because of its 256GB SSD, much better than either of the other two has to offer.
  6. I would go with the Sony. Forget the HP. It uses the older mechanical hard disk technology. The Dell isn't too bad, but a 128GB SSD is a bit small. * * *
  7. Do not buy the Dell. Speaking from personal experience ... mine isn't as jacked as the one you're looking at but I've had a lot of problems with it. I had to buy 2 new batteries and 3 new chargers within 3 years. The battery was $200 a piece and the chargers were $140 a piece ... probably cheaper than the XPS but none-the-less it was aggravating. And, my Dell printer stopped working after a year as well. Very shortly after the warranty expired (surprise, surprise!) Honestly buddy, go with a Mac ... or the Sony.
  8. Go with the Sony because its a better brand.
  9. none of those, go get apple, i just got my 1st apple 13' is excellent super speed and u wont need to worry about antivirus, cause u wont get virus, u will get 1hr training fr apple advisor at apple store or best buy, apple is the only computer with best quality sounds, cam, mic, etc, so many interesting program. check it out, u wont regreat, mac i got only cost less then 1100 and really is excellent, shut down in 3seconds, easy to turn on and off.
  10. The Dell studio, their customer service is the best. Pretty close all are equipped about the same.
