  1. the pink hole is for microphone first off. next, you dont have any sound drivers installed. do what it says and install sound drivers.
  2. Look on the front of the tower for a picture of headphone and plug your headphones into that. I have a HP compaq presario and that's where I plug mine into.
  3. use the green hole, that is for "speakers" or "headphones"
  4. Hed phoes and speaker jack is the same witch is usally the green OR black one, pink is usally microphone. And the pop up is telling you you need to install the driver for your sound card (Witch the driver is the software for your hardware (soundcard)). so go to Start> Control panel> Hardware and Divices> ADD new and let it search for it. then install it. Now if it says it can't or theres an error or dos not find any thing it means you need a new sound card
  5. Sounds like an old joke. Your problem appears to be WRONG HOLE. May look good and may feel good, but it's not the right one for what you want to do.
