i bought an hp laptop computer last year. Can I trade it in for a new one to upgrade?

My daughter os going off to college in the fall and I would like to trade her pc that is 1 yr old for a new one for college. Is there any stores that will do this?

Not any I've ever heard of. What you can do, is sell it on ebay, and use the money to buy her a netbook. But since her laptops only a year old, it's fine for college, now and for years to come.

Strangely a year old computer is almost just so much junk despite that it still does all the things you want it to do. I dare say the laptop she has now will work very well for her.
