Can HP 1015 Laserjet drivers in windows 7 support LaserJet 1010 printer? because i can't find 1010 in win7 o/s?

I am testing out LaserJet 1010 Printer on Windows 7 O/S and have called the HP technical helpdesk picked up by mathew, He advised me to install HP Laserjet 1010 printer using microsoft printer hardware driver software to USB001 virtual connection by clicking on apply and ok on windows 7 HP laserjet 1015 drivers within windows7, he said Microsoft is the only way to install HP printer drivers, Can HP laserjet 1015 software drivers work on HP LaserJet 1010 hardware printers in windows 7? Anyone tried windows 7 before in HP laserjet 1010 printers?

1. You probably just need the drivers for it. There are companies that provide driver solutions. The best one I found is: http://drivermd.com Their software is free to download and offers a free scan of your PC or laptop. It will then tell you all the drivers that are out of date, broken, or missing and allow you to update & fix those drivers once you register the software. It's a small price to pay I think $30 and then you get unlimited driver updates. I run it every few weeks to make sure my laptop drivers are up to date. Geez does it save me time & headaches trying to scour the Internet looking for every single driver. There are other companies out there, but they're no where near as good. They don't have as large of a driver database or they just send you to a link farm and you still have to scour their link farm looking for the right driver. Trust me don't bother with all that.
