How can I fix this printer problem?
I have a hp LaserJet 4200 printer. Everytime I print I get an 'job storage status page'. It says: Error: Unable to store job at printer Reason: Printer not configured to collate Solution: Install an EIO hard disk. What is an EIO hard disk?

- dis-connect your printer from the pc - print a test page - if you get them same error you need to contact HP- it will be a hardare problem
- From the HP support web site: "In order to collate/mopy on a base model printer, a RAM disk needs to be configured or a hard disk needs to be installed." Your printer doesn't have enough on-board memory to collate. You need 64MB and the printer only has 48MB. I've linked to the support page and to a page selling the RAM disk (EIO Hard Disk) but they're pretty spendy, looks like.
