How do I connect an old wireless HP printer (compat w. XP and Wind 2000) to a new Windows 7 computer? No disk.?

I have an HP LaserJet 2100M printer at work. My manager's old computer prints to the old shared printer. He just bought a new Windows 7 computer, but cannot connect to the shared printer. When I try, I get an error message indicating I don't have the correct driver. I am new at installing wireless software, and especially trying to get a new computer to connect to an old printer with no CD. Thanks for your help!

  1. go to hp.com under support and drivers put the model number in get the driver that easy good luck!!!!!!!!
  2. Hello. Here is the HP web page that will allow you to install the correct 2100M drivers for either 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7.
  3. look up your printer online and search for drivers for it. example you would google, "HP LaserJet 2100M driver" if theres is not one for windows 7 your out of luck...if there is..download it and install it, there you go
