1. what ever you decide to buy, purchase a 3 ccd camera... this type of camera will take you longer to out grow... sony, panasonic, jvc..., to name just a few...
2. canon hv20 can usually be found for around $1,000 on sale. it's a high definition camera that is capable of shooting 24p. if you want it to look filmic, you need something that will shoot in 24p.
