Are there any good but cheap digital cameras?

I want a digital camera. But I don't want to pay too much for it. Are there any good but cheap digital cameras out there?

1. Good, and cheap, do not know each other. If you want something good, be prepared to spend at least $250. I guess the Canon PowerShot A480 provides the best bang for your buck. At around $100, the quality is the best in it's price range.
