Graphics Card Compatibility with me Deskop.? HELP PLZ?

1. Your computer may not support PCI-e. I'd check the support section of the website of the computer or motherboard manufacturer to see if it does. Also, it could be that you need a stronger power supply. Some are not powerful enough to power newer video cards.
2. does the fan on the graphics card spin up on boot? Does your powersuppy have enough power and are the power connectors correctly installed? Edit: Consult Compaq manual on how to install graphics card, you may need to disable the onboard graphics somehow... or your new card could be bad.
