Brother Laser Printers safe to use in bedroom?

I have my brother laser printer in my bedroom, uses tn-330 toner. But my bedroom has little ventilation. So i was wondering if this printer is safe to continue to operate in my bedroom or should i move it to somewhere else with higher ventilation? I heard some printers emit toner particles that can cause lung cancer. I'm not sure if my brother printer is safe to operate or emits any dangerous particles.

  1. It is completely safe - the toxic printer emissions story which broke early last year was grossly overplayed. The fact is that printers meld plastic onto paper. Are the fumes good for you? Probably not. However they are no more dangerous that the extremely polluted air you breath every day.
