i can't get my printer to work

first of all make sure that the power connector is connected to the back how about the usb or parallel cable(or signal wire)??? now go to start settings printers and right click the printer you want to use. Make sure that it is not set to work offline as it will not print in this mode. Do you have any paper in the printer??? Is the printer on? Try emptying the print spooler if you need help email me.. If that doesnt work restart the computer and try again. If all else fails, you email me and are still unable to print then either reinstall your software or throw it out!!
