ok for six weeks it has been telling me I am low on Tri color ink! How long before I am out? I have a back up. I homeschool so I print a lot with this printer.

- just keep going - it will stop printing at some point
- You don't say which model you have, but I have a HP printer, and I am able to check ink levels by going to HP director>settings>print settings>printer toolbox then click on Estimated Ink Levels, and it will show approximately how much is left. You need to have your printer turned on and connected to be able the check ink levels. Otherwise, just keep going until you get another warning telling you to change the cartridge.
- The ink levels on the toolbox is just a gauge for estimation, so it's not entirely accurate. Dont worry about the low on ink warning, just go on printing. You will know when the ink is out when the colors go wonky on your printouts. In the meantime, just use it as usual. You do not need to waste the ink that's still left in there - it's expensive.
