Ink toner cartridge compatibility?

Is HP ink toner cartridge CE505X compatible with CE505A, HP Laser Jet P2035n?

1. HP doesn't say it can, so you must assume it can't. The CE505X itself only says it's compatible with P2055 series printers.
2. Nope. The "X" indicates that it is a high-yield cartridge. The ce505x is rated for 6,500 pages, whereas the ce505a only gets about 2,300. Both of them will work on a 2055, but the 2035 can only take the smaller cartridge.
