- Any of the cameras listed on this site are some of the "best". If a camera you are interesting is NOT on this site, forget about it. http://www.dpreview.com
- For point and shoots these companies make very good cameras. A lot depends on the cost and features which you'll have to sort out. Fuji, Canon, Sony, Nikon and Olympus.
- Well Nikon And Cannon are 2 of the best brands out there if you to be able to adjust and edit your photos the software that comes with most Nikon's is normally the best you can get I just bought a Nikon and it has voice activated actions and auto fixes red eye with out adjusting the flash.
- It depends on what you're looking for. Canon is the only brand I buy. I used to buy Sony's and Nikons but they have their disadvantages. I would suggest First, buy something that used SD media. SD is cheap and fast, also more available than any other media. Canon also have many features that you'll find useful and not just there to add a feature. Nikons are great if you want a really high end camera, but their low end cameras are slow. Sony have great cameras but they have their proprietary media MSproDuo, which is the most expensive media but you can find it anywhere that sells games (For use in PSP) Incidentally Wii uses SD so those same game stores will sell SD cards too. Steer clear of Fuji and Olympus because of the xD cards, they are a great card and very reliable but expensive and hard to find, they're also the hardest to read, many card readers don't support xD and those ones in photo machines are most commonly out of order. Kodak have some very nice lower end cameras too mow, if you go with a kodak make sure it is one of the ones that have Schneider lenses. This will ensure you're not buying one of the really bad ones and Koday are easy to use. Most camera brands usr SD cards, as do phones and many media players, SD is the faster of the common media types but the least reliable. I've had many SD cards and not had issues with any of mine but I've heard of the occasional "Bad card".
