Refill, Aftermarket Toners or Brand new Toners laser printer?
I have an HP Color LaserJet 2605dn that's running low on ink. Should I buy a brand new HP Brand Toner or aftermarket toner for almost half the price and get the same number of pages? or refill toners? Also... how are the aftermarket toners? Do they get the same number of pages? Is there a quality print difference?

- not all cartridges can be easily refilled. my last hp required drilling a hole in the cartridge. I have used many aftermarket toners. Once in a rare while I get a bad one and then I send it back to the dealer for exchange.
- if you are purchasing cartridges from a reputable company who does offer a full Guarantee then you should have no problems. The cartridges for your printer have been around for awhile and many remanufaturers are very good at making them, the trick is to buy from a good place. Make sure they guarantee them and you should not be noticing a decline in page yields or print quality. I sell about 10-30 of that series daily and will usually see about 1 out of every 200-300 returned for performance issues. This puts my failure rate on par with that of HP.
- Aftermarket toners can be just as good as name brand. Just be sure you're buying them from a reputable source. The quality of the print should not be affected. Don't let the big printer companies tell you that you HAVE to use their toner and ink! I wrote an article about cheap, quality ink for your printer. I use this all the time and have been happy with the prints and even happier with the price! Check it out at: http://pleasetellmemore.com/topics/cheapest_ink_my_printer.html I hope this helps!
