Wireless Printers HP Model (or if not Canon) - what do you recommend?

I'm looking to buy a wireless all-in-one printer for a family member - something around the $200-$250 mark, up to $300 at most. I've narrowed down to HP or maybe a Canon. What is a good HP model? Two I've considered include Officejet 6500 mentioned and also Officejet J6480 (both all in ones with fax) - which one is better/for what reasons?
