  1. This language is lost to me.
  2. None of the above...one word...Toshiba.
  3. This is alot of reading...but i would go wtih the INSPIRON 15
  4. The first one has the best performance configuration.
  5. Stay away from 64 bit Windows. There's rarely any need to run 64 bit and you'll find that most of your favorite programs won't run under 64 bit. The only reason to go 64 bit OS is so you can use more than 4GB of RAM. I think you'll find that you rarely use more than 2GB anyway! Don't get a 64 bit OS. You'll be sorry. Also, those HDD's are pretty small. As far as the rest of the components go, it depends on how you want to use your laptop, as to which one is best. But whatever you do, ditch the 64 bit OS and go with 32 bit with 2 or 3 GB of RAM. You sure as hell don't want or need any Norton or any other limited trial software. First thing I would do to a system that has that garbage is to uninstall it along with all the other gabage that loads on startup.
  6. Any computer you buy should be dependent on what you will use it for. If you're into graphic arts than you will need a computer that has a large hard drive and the best ram speed. If all you need it for is internet or basic homework then any computer will do. Most companies get you with the high prices but only give you a piece at a time, e.g. one computer will have the best graphics card but not good memory and so on, and if you want all the add-ons you will pay the price. So again, depending on what you need it for, look for the one that fits your needs and still has a decent price. I'm a MAC and always will be. If I can recommend a good computer it will be that. I know it's pricey but you do pay for quality.
  7. Depends on what you want to use it for. Configuration-wise the HP seems to offer the most but considering its 17" screen it is huge and probably heavy. If you don't intend to carry it around frequently and you don't care about weight in those cases, it is probably the best. The Inspiron and the Studio look very similar to me. The Inspiron having a slightly higher resolution display (1368x768 vs 1280x720) but otherwise the Studio 15 seems to be having a slightly better configuration. Maybe the Studio 15 being bit better for gaming and the Inpspiron for graphic-intense applications. Before settling on either the Studio 15 or Inspiron 15, I would try to find a place where you can look at both models, then it should be fairly easy. In any case, before buying any laptop, try to find a place to look at it and try it out for yourself (if possible).
