Looking for someone's opinion on two laptops...?

Hi! I'm on a line between two laptops - hp & dell. I have customised two laptops and I am looking to spend $1500-$1700.   1. The HP is a better machine, but you're paying too much. The Dell is going to have better disc performance, but 128G is small. I just ran it through my channel partners, and I can get it for just under $1400 after overnight shipping. Look for a local retailer who can give you a discount.
  2. The tradeoff is a slightly better video card HD4670 or the bigger display screen.
