What happens if you loose your Sony digital camera uploader cord?

I have a sony digital camera. I lost the cord that uploads all of your pictures onto your computer. Would they sell them separately at the store? Is there another way to upload them using a different cord?

  1. Either get a new cord (maybe at a camera/electronics store), or get a card reader (also available at the same kinds of stores) that plugs into your computer's USB - then remove the camera's memory card and put it in the card reader. If you get a card reader, make sure it will work with the type of card in your camera - Sony cameras use Memory Stick cards, but there are several types of those.
  2. Jonas, the simplest thing to do is take your digital camera to Radio Shack and tell them you want a new USB cord for the camera and show them the input on the camera. Make sure the cord will connect properly to your camera. Should cost $4 or $5 Hope this helps :-)
  3. You can find one on e-bay. A friend at work paid $1 for a camera usb cable. You can also get a usb card reader for very cheap at any electronics store.
