Pavilion notebook intel core 2 duo processor t6600-GOOD OR BAD?

I am going to buy a new laptop because my Hp Pavilion dv6000 I had got a virus and the virus is just eating my hardware being optical drive and the audio drive. I have reinstalled it many times, token it to places to get fixed and couldn't because my laptop heats up and then shuts off often. For some reason I have weird problems with my wireless internet, i use a wire that goes from the modem into the laptop to get connection which rarely doesn't work. I cant use my lap top with out the wire...the strange part is sometimes it works with out the plug/cord and it would say Local and Internet. Most of the time I use the plug with another connection and it says Local and Internet. Anyways so I saw a laptop on sale for $774.96 dollars it's a Pavilion notebook intel core 2 duo processor t6600 with a webcam, 4 GB, 500 GB for the optical drive, and it says wireless (don't know what that means). The size of the screen is 14.1. Is this a good choice of laptop to buy, why or why not? 1. this is an ok buy. hp is the best and biggest cvompany (this is from specs not me kissing butt. reviews surveys and price and wikipedia says so) u could get this for 500 if there was a sale or ur lucky. look at best buy. dell is an ok compnay but buy from the best if u have a choice(HP) macs are better but who says there budget computers? well if like this answr plz add as best answr
2. pretty good processor, pretty new. depending on the rest of the specs it could be a pretty good buy.
