I need help with my Laptop Please.?

I have had my laptop for ages but never used all the accessories. Now I found that I should be able to receive digital channels on my laptop. I have an HP Pavilion dv2000t CTO Notebook PC and a HP ExpressCard, DVB-T TV Tuner. I have connected a small areal which came with the laptop to the Express Card. Used the remote to set up my Windows Media Centre, and NO channels found. If someone could just tell me if I need to do anything more before I can receive channels. I do not have a set top box or cable or anything; Thanks

1. I would check to make sure the tuner is set to receive ATSC signals, and not NTSC.
