Where can I find a pcmcia card slot for my pavilion dv1000?

The button on my pcmia card slot is broken off. Can a new button be put in or does the whole slot need to be replaced?If the whole slot needs to be replaced where do I find one I've tried the hp parts store I've tried ebay and a few other online stores but can not find it anywhere.Does anyone know where I can get this part? Any help will be much appreciated. It is a hp pavilion dv1000 notebook.
