Is this computer a good deal from HP?

DVD+/-R/RW SuperMulti drive • Premium Wireless-N LAN card • 15-in-1 memory card reader, 1 USB, 1394, audio • No TV Tuner • Integrated 7.1 channel sound with front audio ports • No speakers • HP multimedia keyboard and HP optical mouse • Microsoft(R) Works 9.0 • Norton Internet Security(TM) 2010 - 15 month • HP Home & Home Office Store in-box envelope I payed about 690 and tax about 60 dollars, is it worth it ? - dude, give me link now. that is a totally kickass deal..... you might want to get windows 7 ultimate 64 bit though. to go along with that quad core and RAM also get VIPRE anti virus. my personal favorite. if you notice your computer slowing down, VIPRE will fix it right up.. anti virus is VERY important
- Yeah............its a good deal..... But processor,,if you using this pc to play games other than official works,,,,,AMD is better....
- Yup, and with 64 bit operating system you should be able to push it to 8 gig ram and then you will really see the change in speed. Also, your old programs that you used on 32 bit operating systems might not work on a 64 bit machine. Try visiting the software website for a possible patch. And 6 gig ram is fine.
- I built a similar box on my own by purchasing quality parts and it cost me about 550 dollars (tax included). You didn't overpay a whole lot and you have something I don't -- hopefully a good customer service from HP in case later something doesn't work and you can't figure out the part to replace.
