getting a new computer.. need input?

my family is getting a new computer (3-4 people will be using it) and we were looking at the mac mini link:http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?nnmm=browse&mco=7B723644&node=home/shop_mac/family/mac_mini (we would get the $599 version) we already have a keyboard and mouse.. here are the things we would buy: 1) the mac mini 2) comic life photo software 3) microsoft office student and teacher version for mac 4) HP 17" monitor the total price with tax (we live in maine and have a 5% sales tax) is: $943.94 do u think this is a good buy? there would be 3 user accounts on the system and 2 people using it regularly and the other 2 occasionally. i will not get a pc.. thanks in advance -----TJ-----
