How did Staples sell out of the HP laptop that was 299.99 before the store opened today?

I couldn't buy it online because there web page would say oops you have to wait till 6am to go shopping online? So how did people buy the HP laptop before the store opened?

1. Its unacceptable, remember that stores differ from their online stores. Usually merch online is in the warehouse and in their store its stocked if its a promotion like that. Yes if you got oops its because there was so much traffic that it slowed their servers (they should have been prepared, I don't know how come stores this size doesn't have enough servers beats me). If you were first inline and they ran a promotion (got a ticket to come in I am sure) save the ticket tell them you asked about a promotion they told me sold out but it is impossible because I was there at a time frame it should have been available but if its limited to 5 or 6 and you were 7 then that would be different. Very limited supply this year. Don't worry though didn't really lose anything electronics always come and go and prices always change.
