- I work in the electronics retail business and my expert opinion is that both laptops carry 2GB of system memory and a160GB of hard drive at the same price... but the HP G60-507dx is equipped with a Intel Celeron Processor 900 which runs at a 2.2 GHz speed vs the eMachine eME627 which carries the AMD Athlon Processor TF-20 which runs at a slower speed at 1.6 GHz. Also a lot of geeks are not fans of the the AMD Athlon processors and would favor the Intel Celeron cpu. In the end I would go with the HP since their quality products have stood by for the economic consumer. Unfortunately this laptops will be offered for in-store sale and not online. Therefore if you going with the HP at Best Buy be there as early at 3:00am. Best Buy will start handing out certain amount of tickets based on their stock for those limited electronic items at 3 am...even though their doorbuster sales start at 5:00pm, but once you get that ticket it guarantees you a reserved laptop and you would just have to wait in line to check out at the counter. Hopefully this helps and good luck on Blackfriday shopping.
