Hp solution center, not working but printer is working help?

I just re-installed my printer after uninstalling it a while back. Everything installed smooth and the printer works perfectly! prints, copy and scans. But one problem when i try to open hp solution center it has no icon and it says (No Hp devices have been detected. Hp solution will now close.) But the shop for hp supplies, and hp photo smart essential still work. Any idea what i should do? I tried re-installing it but hp solution doesn't pick up my printer. I really need to get it working, so i can check my ink levels. Thank you Zach Best answer = 10 points.

1. You just have to use the install disk that came with your printer or get a download from the HP web site and install the software/driver back on your computer. I've also had to do this before.
