how to get my hp Laser Jet 2430tn printer to work?
My printer keeps giving me a error message unable to read cartridge data, I have removed the printer cartridge and reinstalled the printer cartridge and it still tells me unable to read cartridge data, 10.10.00 supply memory error. Help!

- All I can think of is that maybe you could try cleaning the contacts with a piece of toilet paper? Hewlett Packards are notorious. I've had nothing but trouble with them. Epson Stylus is good, and so is Lexmark. Sorry I am of little help to you. And a bit of bad news.
- Not a common problem, but does happen occasionally. There is a little micro computer chip on the toner cartridge with a couple of gold/copper colored contacts on it. Sometimes it can go bad, come off, or there is a failure in the printer. 1. Check to make sure the chip is there on the cartridge (usually mounted close to the top of the toner cartridge along the edge that goes in first) 2. Check the wire contacts in the printer that make contact when the cartridge is installed, for any damage 3. Carefully clean the contact points on both 4. If problem is still present, try a new toner cartridge. If that still doesn't work, then service on the printer will be required. Best of luck.
