I hope it is a good one.

- I would not settle for a HD that is smaller than 100GB. These days between music, games, and apps you should have a good sized HD, they are not that expensive anymore. WIndows Vista can cause issues due to the fact alot of vendors dont support it yet, i would wait for an inital SP to come out

- I JUST bought an Asus laptop with almost exactly the same specs from newegg.com....I hope you didnt pay more than $1050 for it. And yes its working just fine for me, although I am planning on trashing vista and installing linux, Its not the computers fault, just micro$oft
