I am buying a laptop, and want to know if I need any accessories to set it up on my home network?

How do I connect it to my DSL internet at home? Do I need to buy certain hookups or cords? It says it comes with wireless LAN (802.11b/g). P.S. it is an HP Pavilion Intel Core 2 Duo processor laptop

1. You will need a router if you don't have one already
2. buy a wireless router plug it in to ur dsl plug ur computer into the router install the disk software that comes with and put a secure wireless password so no unwanted visitors leech off your connection. unplug your computer search for wireless put your selected password in and u should be set. i would recommend getting wireless mouse. and if you have a larger monitor, or have a LCD or flat screen TV get a wireless keyboard to and u can sit back and use it like a desktop. OH and external speakers are always a good bet laptop speakers suck you will need to buy Router -usually come with a short Ethernet cord Short Ethernet cord- for router to computer. good to have just in case wireless keyboard and mouse if wanted.
