HP Store Online

I have a vista computer hooked up to a HP wireless printer. It won't print?? Help. Please?

Hello I have 2 computers hooked up to a wireless printer. Ones a laptop and ones a desktop. I was on the desktop and I already printed 4 pages of internet stuff. But suddenly a windows poped up and said please install a printer in order to print the document. I was like what the heck? Then I went on my other school laptop and it wouldn't print too. It didn't have the (please install a printer window) though. It just wouldn't print. What did pop up is your printer is offline. But the printer was on I just printed out 4 documents on the internet. I tried install the HP cd over but that didn't work. All that it said was printer might not work correctly. Then I unplugged the usb on the printer and I also turned it off and on again. Both of those didn't work. Did I get a virus? Do I need to install some drivers? Or does printers have the opition to turn it offline and online? I always thought that when it's on it online and when it's off it's offline. Please help :) Thank you
