I'm trying to connect HP Deskjet 610C to a new laptop - is there a cable I can get to make such a connection?

The printer cable used to connect to a desktop computer using a 25-pin plug - of course, the new HP laptop does not have such a connection. Any suggestions?

1. A parallel port to usb adapter would allow you to create a connection, but the real problem comes with the drivers. Newer OS's probably won't support such an old printer even if it works just fine.
2. You can buy an 25 pin to USB connector cord.
