how can I connect my HP LaserJet printer to my new HP laptop computer?

I love my HP LaserJet printer! And now that I've finally bought my new HP Laptop with Windows 7, I'm wondering how to connect that printer to my new computer. Is there a way to connect these devices?

1. plug it to the parralle port of your computer found at the back of your computer. where there are 16 or 24 holes on that port.
2. If your laserjet has Ethernet input then you can plug it to your router and install it as a network printer. If it uses USB only you can connect it directly. If it has a Parallel port input only than you can only plug it into your Desktop. You can set up a home network using a hub or router and share printer with other computers on the network. (works with usb or parallel port)
