How long do I need to charge my new hp laptop before using it?

Just got new hp povilion laptop and it doesn't say how long I should charge it for. Soo hellpppp!!!

1. I would suggest at least 8 hours.
2. Until the battery is full charged. You can check the battery status in your computer
3. You can use it straight away , just plug in the power adaptor and go , it will charge the battery as you use it
4. Plug it into AC and start using it, will charge while in use
