cheap laptops? (preferably hp)?

What are some good cheap laptops by HP? I'll take anything less than 1000, cause i'm pretty low on funds right now

Asus G50VT-X1 2.2GHz (stock overclock to 2.4 GHz) Core 2 Duo 4GB RAM 360GB 7200RPM Harddrive Geforce 9800m GS 15.6" This laptop is a beast, and can take anything you throw at it (even Crysis on med-high settings), and for $716.95 it's a steal! Plus it's faster than any HP for the same price (HP's not that good for gaming). (I've been answering these questions all day lol)
2. please let us know what you are planning to use your laptop for... otherwise any laptop under 1000 will fit your need
3. there are many netbooks (as good as a laptop, very portable 10-12" screens) under 1000 around. HP, Lenovo, ASUS..all ranging from 699 - 800. Should you prefer a full sized screen, you could go hardwarezone.com under the forums>marketplace if you're in singapore and get brand new laptops off sellers approx 1k. most people sell their laptops & netbooks there. be sure what you're getting is what's writen and you got a deal!
