How long does it take HP to return surrendered laptops for repair?

I have HP-compaq, and somethign is wrong with the LCD screen, 5-8 lines from bottom of the display are defective, 4months after I bought the laptop. I can still manage to work though but I am being distracted by the LCD defect below the display. Most of my works are in this laptop. I wont be able to work without this. If I send my laptop to HP for repair, how long will it take them to give me back the laptop considering the display problem and that I am from the Philippines? A week? A month? Thanks

1. If it's a screen replacement, it'll take anywhere between 2-4 weeks at least because they have to order the screen from their vendor.
