HP laptops or other laptops with this design?

Does anybody else have a stupid design on their laptops? I have a HP laptop I got in 2007. Just wondering if there are any other laptops besides HP that have their fans underneath the computer? I'm always afraid of it overheating so I always keep it off the ground and keep it ventilated. How can I also keep it from overheating? What I meant was the vent is underneath the computer. so the hot air cant get out of the computer...like other ones are in the back like Sony's.

1. By doing exactly what your doing. All computers have the fans on the bottom(LAPTOPS)
2. I think most laptop fans are on the bottom. Honestly where else could they go? You can keep it from overheating by buying a cooling pad to set on your lap while you're on the computer.
