How to connect the power supply of a HP pavilion a620n?

I have an HP Pavilion a620n. I connted some of the cables of the poersuply so my computer will turn on. But there are still a bunch of cables that arent pluggeed in. they have the letters P8,P6, P5,

1. Not all of the cables on the power supply connect to something... they leave room for expansion. Power supplies are built somewhat universal, so that they can be used in a number of different cases/systems/manufacturers. As long as you have all of your peripherals connected (hard drive, floppy, cdrom) and power to the motherboard & fans, your fine. Hope this helps
