Where is internet explorer history stored?

I have a HP dv6000, which i'm planning to get rid of, and i changed my laptop hard drive recently. Is there any other part of the laptop that stores which websites i've visited and other personal info that i've used to purchase items online?

2. No. All the data that's stored on a computer is stored on the hard drive. When you took out your drive recently, all of that data went with it. To view your history, press Ctrl+H. Ctrl is a key down at the bottom left of your keyboard.
3. It's stored in C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Local Settings\History Local Settings is a hidden directory so you might need to un-hide it to gain access to it.
