Questions about colour laser printers?
1. Do laser printer cartridges dry up like ink cartridges? 2. Is there any place where i can find cheaper laser cartridges? 3. What is a good laser printer with nice inks (good for value) and an economic price?

- Well, I can answer the first one. 1. No. Laser printer cartridges use a dry, powdery plastic that is melted into the paper to create the prints. It does not dry out, since it is already dry, and will last for months, even years, before it may begin to cause problems. The problem that may happen first is the drum in the cartridge may become too old after a couple of years to work well. This is provided that everything is kept in a cool, dry location. Excess heat and/or moisture will cause earlier failures. Lasers are great for long term use with few problems. 2. Yes, there are many places that sell cartridges fairly cheaply, but beware, you may be getting what you pay for. There are some instances where cheaper knock-off cartridges don't print or last as well as the original manufacturer. Just do a Google search for compatible cartridges for the printer to see what you can find and compare. 3. There are many manufacturers of laser printers that have fairly inexpensive printers available. Usually HP is the better brand out there. Again, do an internet search of color printers and see what you can find and compare. Best of luck.
