Im not able to start up my pc even on safe mode is a laptop hp pavilion dv9830 what can i do?

1. have your power supply or power port checked
2. Corrupt operating system files due to hard shut down or virus/malware/spyware. Install new OS or do a system repair using a set of recovery disc made for the lap top by model and serial number. The disc set can be ordered from http://www.hp.com customer service if you do not have them. If this does not work then the hard drive has failed and will need to be replace and then a new OS installed using the recovery disc set.
3. You may need to reformat your laptop. Be warn that your files will be erased.
