how to get rid of beeping sound for HP laptops?

i set up an administrative password in the BIOS setting. everytime i boot my HP dv laptop, it beeps loudly to prompt me entering a password. how do i stop this? i checked the option in the BIOS but there's none. this is annoying. everytime i start my pc it gives an extra loud beep. plus my HP lapatop is not equipped with the physical volume toggle. it's a touch pad type. i cant mute it before i power on the machine.

1. If there's no option in the BIOS, there's no real way other than disabling your speakers. I don't see the point of passwording your BIOS anyway.
2. This is the problem with HP laptops.. No solutions as this happens through commands by BIOS and as you know we can't amend BIOS.
