Help me decide what kind of computer would fit my needs?
I am starting College, and I have several classes that will be online only. I would like to have a cd and or dvd writer, like I have on my desktop. I don't know if I could get more use out of a laptop or desktop. My online classes will be my main focus with the new computer, I guess I would do them at home. So really I might be wasting money on a laptop that wouldn't have the memory and accessories I want. I think me and my husband would be the primary users, and give the old HP Pavilion a705w to the kids, it's close to 6 years old now. I need a deal too. Descisions, descisions... Any suggestions?

- a computer you can carry
- If you are looking for portability then a Laptop is the way else you can go for any branded Desktops. These days almost all computers come with a DVD player/writer and huge hard disk space and with good amounts of RAM. So in short, a typical desktop/laptop sold over the counter will serve your needs.
- Go to Best Buy. They will be happy to help you with your needs. Now here is a trick: best buy is expensive, so first listen to them, and try to write down some models. Now go to walmart and you will see the same models for cheaper! Or, just go to amazon and type in the model number. This way you get the models you need for much less. Hope this helps you to save a buck.
