1. A "50.x service" error code on an HP laser is commonly associated with the fuser. Most often the fuser has failed and needs to be replaced. There are one or two printer models though that will have the low voltage power supply fail (usually the 8150 series) instead of the fuser and give that error as well, since that is the power supply source for the fuser.
