How do I keep heavy duty banner material from wrinkling when printing on it with a large format printer?

We are using a HP DesignJet 8000s, printing on Heavy Duty Banner material. When we print, it makes the material wrinkle in the center. We tried lowering the heat setting, but we're down to the lowest setting and it's still wrinkling. What do we do to stop the wrinkling?

  1. Is there an option on those printers to feed it from the back so it doesn't bend the paper? Check the limits on that printer to see if it can handle the weight of the paper.
