Is this laptop worth the price?

HP Pavilion 14.1" Laptop featuring AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core QL-64 (DV4-1308CA) It costs $650 CDN I going to use it for homework, run somewhat heavy resource programs and do light gaming. I also care about the screen size (weight) and battery life because I'll be using this on the go. 1. yes, sounds about right.
  2. idk, i hate hp,no offense, but i love acer
  3. yea i think it's worth it w/ all that
  4. ya thats a really good price ware at i need a labtop
  5. It's not an unreasonable price.
  6. yea, i'd say that's a good price on it, seeing as it has some pretty decent specs. I think if you're allowed to customize this, add another backup battery, and make the primary one a 12 cell, for longer life.
  7. yea just know that at some point it is going to slow down when u are playing games and stuff cuz of the 250 GB. try going for something more like 350 or 400
  8. Money in exchange for an HP computer isn't reasonable. when they bought Compaq they learned how to make computers with no regard for quality or after-purchase support of the customer. (After many years of buying nothing but HP, I wouldn't take one for free unless I needed a doorstop.) Acer (and their Gateway line, in particular, if you want a laptop) is good. So is Toshiba. (That HP has less than 2GB of system RAM in it right now [3GB - 1406MB], making it just barely usable with Vista, no Bluetooth and only b/g wifi. Not exactly state-of-the-art.).
