  1. Looks that way, I'd go with the hp, as that is the better brand. Dell computers are prone to all sorts of problems.
  2. HP. I would never recommend a Dell. And in this case the HP. Except for the Vista(Vista is CRAP) the HP looks great.
  3. The HP looks better. Dells dont last too long, and the HP has 2 HDD. The HP has a faster processor and a better battery, the dell has a centrino which is known for greatness. So Go with the HP, you will have a better gaming expierience.
  4. If you're interested in playing games, neither of these companies will deliver. You might try StealthMachines http://www.stealthmachines.com I bought my laptop from them and it works great.
  5. I would go for ATI graphics card machine. If u want a good gaming machine, a good graphics card is necessary. compare ur graphics cards here Its the best benchmarking site ever http://service.futuremark.com/hardware/graphics_cards/nvidia_geforce_gt_130m http://service.futuremark.com/hardware/graphics_cards/ati_radeon_hd_4670
  6. as the specs : 1. DEll & HP both had 4GB DDR3 ram memory & 1 GB video card, so may have the same good high graphic performance ! it's a tie. 2. but HP had the larger LCD of 18.4" is better for gaming. 3. HP has a faster processor -Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T9900 (3.06 GHz, 6 MB L2 Cache, 1066MHz FSB) ; DELL is only Core™ 2 Duo T9800 (6MB cache/2.93GHz/1066Mhz FSB) ; 4. HP has 2 HDD is better for backup & to prevent of HDD damage, and also with larger total disk space of 640 GB. (DELL -1 HDD 500 GB) 5. HP had the better longer battery of 8 Cell (only 6 Cell for DELL) 6. HP also together with higher version of Vista OS (Ultimate for HP, Dell is only Home Premium)..... so, i suggest HP !!! .
